Welcome to Ann’s Blog!

Hello to all and welcome to my blog created just for my friends and family members!

I have recently established a separate blog for “business” and am dedicating this one strictly to videos and info for family and friends. I welcome your visiting and, hopefully, enjoying the moving montages (slide shows) that I have prepared. If I have seen you lately, you are probably in one of the shows.

Since retiring from Grissom High School in Huntsville, Alabama, where I taught interactive multimedia design for the last five years of my career and absolutely loved it, I have stayed out of trouble with my passion for creating shows.

None of the shows posted here were completed for clients. These are all personal shows that I have done for family and friends simply because I relish the joy these personal shows seem to bring. However, If you should know of anyone who wants a great show created for them, they are welcome to visit my commercial site–at http://creativememoriesinmotion.com–to see some of my work as well as a price listing. The sites are very similar except the commercial site contains shows embedded from YouTube while this site, at present, contains some YouTube and some Vimeo embeds. I am beginning to use Vimeo on this site so that I can show some of the longer shows without having to break them into parts since YouTube has a 10-minute constraint. If I am pleased with Vimeo, I will eventually use it exclusively for this personal blog site.

Look around and use the links on the sidebar to view some of the shows. I hope you will comment; it’s a great way for me to hear from you–after all, it is a blog–so, let’s BLOG!

Ann

Oh Yes! If you would like to visit my still image site over at SmugMug, click here SmugMug’s homepage.

My high school classmates and I just celebrated our 50th reunion (June 2010). We had a great time; it was wonderful seeing classmates once again and meeting their spouses. Just wish everyone could have been there. I do hope we can keep in touch a bit better and get together again in a couple of years. I have posted a couple of short videos from the reunion. They can be found, of course, under Reunion Shows.

    Hi Guys,

If you keep noticing that my “home page” changes periodically, it is because I am new to this and don’t really know what I am doing. Please bear with me.

    Ann,
I really enjoyed browsing in your site. It is a tremendous blessing to all of us to have these memories preserved in such a way. It reallly gives life to what use to be a bunch of misc photos that were once thrown randomly into some photo album, shoe box or desk drawer. Love Dave

PS- and tell Bob to come out of the basement every now and then to let you know he is still around

      David,

I am glad you are enjoying the blog! Keep checking back and posting. It is a lot of fun to get the comments, and I hope it is going to help us keep in touch. You can comment on individual shows, too, at the bottom of each show anytime you like. Jim has commented on a couple. Hope you guys are doing well.
      Love,
      Aunt Ann
